Lovely to meet you - please, call me Lisa, I'm from Poland.
With a solid foundation in art and international relations, I began my career in advertising design, delving deep into the world of print production and illustration. After several years working in a printing house and an advertising agency, reaching the position of Creative Department Head, I decided to focus on my passion for children's illustration, moving to Poland in 2016.
I am constantly striving for excellence, actively improving my skills by attending courses from renowned masters and regularly updating my professional library. I am an active member of the Graphic Artists Guild and the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators, which allows me to exchange experiences and ideas with colleagues.
Over the past 8 years, I have illustrated more than 20 children's books, working closely with publishers and author teams. This experience has not only contributed to my professional growth but has also enriched me with new ideas and approaches to creating unique illustrative worlds.
My victories:
The book "Nadia the Girl with Grace" with my illustrations won at the 27th Mountain Literature Festival in Poland.
The book "Gio's Friendly Garden" became a finalist National Indie Excellence Awards, became a finalist International Book Awards and got a silver medal Readers Favorite Faive Stars.
I've also taken part in the book illustration exhibition in Wroclaw.

✅ Detective Stories – Stories with elements of riddles, mysteries, and solving crimes capture the imagination and stimulate thinking.
✅ Horror and Mysticism – Stories designed to evoke a slight fear or mystical interest, suitable for a children's audience, allow me to play with atmosphere and tension.
✅ Fantasy – Works containing magical elements, fictional worlds, and creatures open up limitless possibilities for creativity and imagination.
Groups:Preferred Themes and Topics:
I love drawing books about animals and people that spark natural curiosity in readers.
Here are the themes I prefer to work on:
✅ Environmental Books - I always find it interesting not only to read but also to illustrate such books. I have a dog and two cats, and I love mountains and traveling, so I always find inspiration in nature. I'm interested in themes like adventures and exploration, including travels, discovering new places and cultures, and treasure hunting. Stories about animals and nature, ecological lessons, and environmental protection also captivate me.
✅ Fairy Tales and Folklore of Different Peoples - I enjoy traveling, exploring history, and immersing myself in the world of legends and fairy tales. I had the pleasure of illustrating two books about legends for a Polish publisher. My love for fairy tales grew stronger after the birth of my child, so I eagerly work on themes related to traditions and culture, including holidays, customs, and multiculturalism, as well as fairy tales and legends, including retellings of classic tales and folk legends.
✅ Psychological Literature - Themes of individuality and inclusiveness are very important to me. I independently study psychology, and when illustrating books, I enthusiastically dive deep into the topic. Having a 14-year-old daughter, I'm currently particularly interested in books about and for teenagers. I can show my sketches to my child and together explore or discuss a new book. Topics such as friendship and social relationships, including the development of friendly relations and the ability to work in a team, overcoming conflicts; family and home, including family values and relationships between parents and children; growth and self-determination, including self-discovery and personal development; overcoming difficulties, including dealing with challenges and learning from mistakes; heroism and leadership, as well as morality and ethics, are interesting and relevant to me.
